a cup of Counter Culture Cupping lab

June 19, 2013

When I travelled to Atlanta for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I was so excited to be able to visit the Counter Culture Cupping lab. It was such a beautiful space and David was very kind to visit with me after their weekly cupping on Friday.

I really enjoyed getting to try a coffee that I enjoyed as a French Press at Urban Standard in Birmingham that morning, as a pour over at the cupping lab. It was a delicious, clean and fruity Ethiopian coffee. The cupping lab allows them to maintain quality control in their many whole sale accounts in the south east region. Its obviously driven by passion and desire to have the best coffee possible from grocery stores, to cafes and restaurants, including Empire State South. Thanks again for letting me experience the lab!
